in memory of fay jake (肥仔) Green spotted Puffer

My belove fay jake passed away for almost a year already, and I got him as my last year's b-day gift. He was soo adorable and cool. I had to admit that I didn't know how to treat him well enough, and at the end, he decided to suicide by not eating anything. I first saw him at Wal-mart, and all the fish around him are dying, drying, eating each other. He was soo cute and different from the others. He was the only one that says at the corner silently. Well, I fell in love with him so as stinky hoi.

The next day, hoi bought a little tank, 1 gallon, bought some decorations, and frank foods, and water cleaning stuf

fs, and bought me the first as b-day gift. I was so happy and soaped in love. We bought some drugs to treat his ilk (as show in the picture later). After a month fighting with the parasite, he was finally happy. Later on, we realized that he doesn't eat frank food, so we brought him blood worms, and later shimp. Later on, he started to hate shimp, so we bought him snails... He didn't like small tanks, so we bought him a 10 gallon tank. He felt bored, and not happy, so We also bought some guppies, and balloon mollies (which were said to be cohabited). Later on, he didn't feel like living with other fish, so we separated them, and move the other fish to a 5 gallon tank.

At the end, he still not happy with everything, and stopped eating.........

How do I know that if he's happy or not? He turn golden green and smile when happy, and turn blackish otherwise.

And I suddenly found some pictures of him when he just came to our appartment, and he was the prettiest at the time.

I am not gonna update anything tomorrow. So I guess I will update two things together today then.

crystal update

Because of the majority views' request (well, it's just su su sama...), I am going to update some new status of my reborn crystal.

What happened to it exactly. I removed those white crystals that grow on the side of the bottle, and dissolved them back to some new water, which was used to replace what was evaporated. Everything was cool, and was it? The real fairy crystal quickly melted as well!! It was only 1/3 of the original size after one day, and the edges of the crystal became smooth and roundish... aww

I was about to give up on it, and ho i hoi was like, "see, how fragile is our love, and you have destroyed it too!" I argued, "well~ that was your idea that brought the destruction!" The crystal said, "Please don't fight~ I will grow up again~~. " and It grew a little bit. How cute.

Birthday gifts cont. crystal

I got this from Hoi hoi's mom. She bought this in HK as my birthday gift. Well, it doesn't seem very pretty at the first glance, and it doesn't look so great in pictures either (maybe I didn't do a good job in capturing it?) However, it shines brightly and perfectly under the sun or lights at night. The perfect cutting of the crystal is just so dazzling. Anyways, it must be expensive even in HK.

I sometimes hate wearing it. Yea, it is pretty, but I would say it is too pretty. I wouldn't feel very safe wearing it walking at night. The most distracting thing is, it is just so pretty that everyone you encounter would be staring at it when talking to you, and then at the end they are all like, "aww~ I really love ur bracelet. It is so pretty." Common, look at me, not the bracelet!

Birthday gifts

I should have talk about this earlier, like right on my birthday.. ya~ I put this off..

Today's post would be birthday gifts from Mom, and My cute Mo Mo.

After persuading my mo for awhile, I finally got the netbook I like as a birthday gift. I wanted to get the white one or the black one before, but.. they are like more than $50 more expensive with the same set up. Why bother? Blue one is pretty cool. It's super fast, light, and the sound was impressive. The only draw back would be the mouse pad, it too small and caused me some frustration. 160 GB is enough for taking notes and doing homework. I even used it to run programs like Perl, and it was ... perfect! Although I heard that eee has a netbook with 10 hours of battery life, but this one is enough for me. Technically, it says 8 hours, but with the way I use it is normally 6. For school work? Since I don't have to turn it on all the time, so I don't really have to charge it every day. When you put it on sleep, there wasn't much energy lost. I put it on sleep for 3 days, and the energy level was exactly the same as before.

Love crystal

I did not update my blog for 4 days already.
Guess what?
The love crystal I broke couple days ago while cleaning, kinda stuck together again, and started growing at a higher speed. That was kinda cool. I said to hoi hoi, "even though our love is quiet fragile, but it's just like wild grasses, and never dies XP). Or something like "dying in order to live again, to live better".

Traveled far, and using my little new netbook now.

There you go. According to the instruction, when the crystal reach the water surface, the growing process is complete and we can remove the water, and cap the light. However, obviously, the growing process is not complete with a large portion of the growing pellet are still down there. The water just evaporated due to the central AC... What should I do? add more water? Should I dissolve those crystal growing on the side back to the water? WHAT SHOULD I DO???

happy farm

I wanted the sheep and the mule sooooo much!! soo much!!

This is the online farming game that I often play. It is kinda boring but somewhat addictive. Hoi hoi opened an account, and I kinda got my hand onto it when he didn't want play it anymore. I always waste web money of my account on lands, seeds, background..etc, and realized that when it comes to this little cute sheep, I am out of corns for it. What should I do? I also realized that I earned 500k for hoi hoi's account. Ok, there we go, I bought it.

Isn't them cute? or it is just me...



Alright. Then I realized, well... that's not what I really what. I want to own it, on my account, not just buying it... = ( gotta save some from now on then...

So, as you may had already guessed, my next introduced item would be the Domo doll.

I mean, Domo is just adorable. Look, how silly he is. The texture of the doll is great, extremely smooth and soft. It makes me feel great just hugging him (Hoi, I don't need you anymore). I would think the only drawback is his mouth, the frame is just made with cardboard paper (It sure is a very hard one. I thought it was plastic at first). I don't hate it though.

So, how big is domo? 1/3 of the 40in TV (same high).

fairy crystal update

An update of the growth of the fairy crystal. It is really lame that some side crystal really showed up on the glass as stated on the manual. Maybe I should clean it as soon as possible, but I just don't feel like doing it.

I said something to hoi hoi, and felt really lame after saying it, "好感动啊, 看着我们爱的结晶在慢慢的成长."

another cute gift from hoi -- mouse pad

This is traditional Hong Kong style stuff - "hit little people". Supper cute, designed but dOt design. You have a memo for writing down those "tiny people's" name, and a sandal for hitting (smashing would be a better word?) that memo, and a little "song" for cursing them. ha ha ha, I am posting the pictures. The purpose? I am sure all the Cantonese people know, it is used to curse mean people whom standing in your way to success or peoples keep causing you troubles. Or anyone you hate soo much that you want to curse them.

*** I guess I have to specify that this is a mouse pad with a little pillow (black sandal) to put your hands. It is pretty comfortable and easy to use. ***

Gifts ~ lots of Gifts from hoi hoi

Hoi hoi is finally back from HK, and bought me a lot of gifts. I guess I will post it one at a time.

First of all, I would like to show you this, a product from Taiwan. Call fairy crystal.


So, all you have is a bottle, a LED light, a crystal tablet, and a crystal nutrient powder..

I think the funnest part is to made the little fairy grow with your little tiny handy help. You will have to add boiling water of 100C to the bottle, and add the white nutrient powder with little stir. On the manual, it says that you don't have to let all powder dissolved, but you better add the fairy tablet fast with the curly side up, and center the tablet.












oops~ I added too much of water... can't close the cap now... anyways. So I let the white powder dissolved, and added and red tablet and centered.
